Yesterday I ordered a refurbished late 2013 13" MBPr 2.6/8/512 and I have some questions on installing Windows 8.1 Pro using the bootcamp method.
1. Where can I download the 64 bit full version of Windows 8.1 Pro iso? and can I download it to the OS X desktop?
2. Can I use a 8GB USB flash drive for the installation instead of buying the Apple external USB DVD drive?
3. What is the recommended partition size for Windows 8.1 Pro?
4. How does Windows 8.1 Pro handle the Retina displays?
5. Are the bootcamp drivers optimized for Windows 8.1 such as the trackpad functions?

http://getintopc.com/softwares/operating-systems/windows-8-1-download/

yes

depends on your usage, if you are disabling hibernation and the pagefile (google), w8.1 will take up 12-14gb so gauge how much extra space you need beyond that, the min i recommend is 30/40gb if you rarely need windows

fine

yes but if you're looking for the trackpad to work like in osx, you need this

Does this link provide the genuine version of Windows 8.1 Pro? If so, can I use my Windows 8 Pro key to activate Windows 8.1 Pro after the clean installation with Bootcamp?

Yes

Google clean install 8.1 with 8 key for steps, you need the generic key to install and your purchased key to activate
