any guinea pigs yet? issues? shouldn't be but never can tell with microsoft

Been running it since RTM.
No issues I have found.

It's worth the update. Nice touches (much more mouse/desktop friendly). Looking forward to the next update.

did it 'reset' or reconfigure any of your prior settings

No. Nothing was reset. It will default to desktop at start per design. The only other thing is the Marketplace is pinned to the task bar by default. Nothing shocking or troublesome.

Does under "system" stated Windows 8.1 update 1, or as the previous only "Windows 8.1"? Thanks

Just "Windows 8.1"

Running it on rMBP-13 Haswell - everything is super smooth and nice, no problems at all!

i wonder if after a week or so re-downloading an 8.1 ISO from Windows will come with update 1 so you could clean install 8.1.1

i know with OSX, the updates are propagated same day to the OS installer

if anyone sees this, let us know

You can download the "Winows 8.1 with Update 1" .iso right now from MSDN if you are an authorized subscriber, or get it from torrents if you are not.

another success here, updated to 8.1.1 and checked all our changed settings, no issues to report

I like what they've done here with this update. I especially like pinning apps to the desktop. However these are all things which should have been done with 8 originally.
