Hi all,

I've run into a problem to which i've not been able to solve over the last 2 weeks.

I installed Windows 8 Pro via EFI boot on a 5,2 MAcBook pro (Early 2009 17")
to which I managed to get everything working except for the drivers for the graphic cards (both integrated and discrete).

Here are the device instance paths for the GPU’s:

geforce 9400M
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0863&SUBSYS_00AF106B&REV_B1\4&3115EB80&0&0080

geforce 9600M GT
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0647&SUBSYS_00B0106B&REV_A1\4&27070396&0&0060

Now the 9400M works with the WWDM1.2 generic drivers, however I get rendering glitches which are extremely annoying.

The 9600M GT I can't get to work with any kind of driver.

Things I have tried so far:

1. Using the latest drivers from the nvidia site - I get failed to install messages.
2. Using the latest drivers from the laptopvideo2go site - get a not compatible with this version of windows error.
3. Using the have disk method - same error as above.
4. Create custom .inf files and do all the above again - same errors.
5. Advance restarting without digital driver signing and doing the above once more - Black screen/ panics = unusable

Now I'm hoping someone out there has managed to either get these drivers installed in some manner. Otherwise I'm very happy about the rest of the install.

I'd be most appreciative of any assistance, I seem to be hitting my head against a wall and have concede to asking for help. I love a challenge, but I think this one is a little out of my depth.

Thanks in advance.
