Windows 8 Parallels Size?

So I recently installed Parralels and Windows 8.

Just curious as to what size the Windows 8 .pvm should be? I had a couple of big files, about 10GB in there that I deleted, but the pvm did not shrink in size.

Just wondering if it should and how this stuff works?
