For those wanting the Windows 8 interface (and even live tiles), there is now a Chrome extension called "new metroTab" that can give you this look (at least when you have Chrome open). And for those that have Chromebooks, this will obviously be more front and center. Just go to the Chrome webstore and search for 'new metroTab' under "extensions". Easy to set up.
This extension is very customizable, allowing for 1x1, 2x1 and 2x2 sized tiles, alter tile background color to any color you want, change tile icons to any image you want, place icons where you want, add custom tiles, custom tiles that go to specific webpages, change wallpaper, alter theme color and a few other things.
Some may hate on Windows 8 or find this extension useless and that is fine. Just thought I would put it out there for those that like Windows 8. Here are some screen shots off my Chromebook. Not sure if I will keep using this extension, but I like to change up the look of my phone, tablet and now this Chromebook every couple of weeks.
