I've looked everywhere for the Mac OS X equivalent of the ctrl-backspace command (or alt-backspace) in Windows, which deletes the word to the left (or right) of the cursor on my . Does such a thing exist in Mac Pro land? I went to the Apple store and the guy there showed me that option-delete works on a MacBook Pro but it doesn't work on my Mac Pro. Why should the hardware matter anyway. I'm perplexed? Thx.
