Windows Hard Drive

Hi there everyone,

my question is pretty simple, I run Windows at home but my friend has a macbook. I know I can get an external hard drive and hook it up using a USB cable. Could I use this on a macbook? Can I access my files on the mac? thanks a lot

If the drive is formatted as FAT32 then both Windows and OSX will be able to read and write with it.
