Windows Home Server with Time Machine?

I'm wanting to set up a old eMachines PC as a NAS, I already have the Windows Home Server OS, and I was wondering if I could use time machine to do automatic backups to it. It will be primarily for my new MacBook Pro I'm getting on Tuesday. I know the HP MediaSmart Server works with TM, which runs WHS, just wasn't sure if a home-built setup would work
