Can I use a windows keyboard with my Macintosh? I'm using one right now but the option and command keys are switched. Can I fix that?

Does anyone know of a good natural keyboard for macintosh that they currently use?

Story Behind Questions:
I accidentially destroyed my Apple Pro Keyboard and I need to get a new one. I do alot of programming and sometimes my wrists hurt, so it's been recommended that I get a natural/ergonomic/split keyboard. I havnt been able to find one for macintosh and I really want to get the Microsoft Elite. But right now I'm using a windows keyboard but the command and option keys are switched and I'm not sure how to change that short of rewiring it.

Interesting that your PC keyboard works with your Mac. If it does, then the Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite should as well. You could get that, and either get used to the swapped keys, or find a driver somewhere (VersionTracker?) that lets you remap your keys. Doesn't look like Microsoft offers a Mac driver.

Or, check out

Good luck. Wrist problems aren't much fun.

That's weird. I use a Microsoft Natural keyboard at work, connected to my Powerbook. The Windows key maps to the "apple" (command) key, which I'd think is what you'd hope/expect.

Oh, wait, are you talking about their physical position on the keyboard?

yeah, i'm worried about the physical position on the keyboard, i never look on it anyway ;)

ill look into the drivers and tell you how it works out. thanks a bunch!
