Can someone tell me if 'Windows Live Hotmail Plus' works with Apple Mail?
Can I send and receive (hotmail) e-mails in Mail without going onto the internet to the hotmail site?
I will still use the online hotmail, when I'm away from my computer.
One on my friends suggested using Gmail, but there's too much hassle changing everything over. And I mean everything... all my internet shopping accounts, all the forums account, all my contacts I have stored... plus I want to keep using Adium (all my friends have hotmail and MSN on Windows, but iChat doesn't work). So I don't want Gmail for sending them all e-mails while still using hotmail to chat... I'd rather they'd all be under the one account (hotmail).
I have set up a "test" account with Gmail. Its ok
, but I think because I've been using hotmail for years it just seems really different and I have to say it... I don't like it. (this is on the website site access) - it seems very cluttered, I don't like that replies are kept in threads in one e-mail, you can't customize it... I know I'll p*ss some people of but I love hotmail.
On the plus side, it does what I want hotmail to do... it allows me to view, create and send e-mails in Apple Mail with no problems, while also having the ability to access it online when I'm away from home.
Thanks for any information.
