I do not know how to save your library in wmp 11. Where is the data about ratings, playcounts kept?
I'd ideally like to move to itunes and back and forth.
Incidentally, wmp 11 is much smarter. If I alter an mp3's file name or even move an mp3 from a "downloads" folder to the "my music" folder, wmp 11 updates its location and doesn't "lose" the file. Whereas in itunes, you get that dreaded "!" . It was liberating to be able to just move my mp3's manually without the software player losing track of them. This has saved me so much grief, so much so that i want to move to wmp 11, but I want to save my itunes data and import it in
And I want to save my wmp 11 data library so that I can not have to do this when I switch computers in the future.
"music bridge" software was a joke. It put the wrong album art with the wrong songs, etc and in general made everything so confusing that i would have been faster for me to manually redo everything myself. Then again, it was free so you can't beat that.
