Windows Media Player installation issues!

To play wmv files I downloaded Windows Media Player for Mac. It came in a .bin file. Which I extracted using unarchiver it produces a .sitx file. Which I agian tried extracting but it shows an error saying this file cannot be extracted with this program. I downloaded WMP from two three sources but got the same file so same issues. And I don't prefer flip4mac as everytime you try and play a video it starts importing which takes time.

Well, Flip4Mac is your option. WMP is dead.

The problem with flip4mac is it takes a while to load every video!

Well, it seems the problem with WMP is that it doesn't work. Those are your options for WMV files.

WMV = worst video codec ever.

Turn off progressive download for streaming video in the F4M prefs and see if that fixes it.
