So I tried to install windows XP on my mac through bootcamp. I partitioned it, put the XP CD in, and it tried to install it. It then restarted and now i keep getting a "Disk Error" message. I tried to use the repair thing on the windows install as well but it failed to do anything.

So i managed to get the CD to eject, and restart it, but I just kept getting "disk error". So i put in the OSX disk to try to salvage it, it stays on a white screen for a while and then it keeps still giving me the disk error message on a black screen, and i cant eject the osx cd.

So yeah, I don't know what went wrong or what to do.

Any help would be great.

Thanks a lot.

EDIT: my mistake was that i left it as "keep the current file system intact", but i still dont know how to fix it.

what version of XP? bootcamp needs at least sp2.

this sounds more like a bootcamp problem than windows xp problem to me...
