I need software that will sync my Windows Mobile phone with Address Book and iCal. It also need to have the ability to explore the phone's file system so I can add/drag off files. I know of The Missing Sync but I heard bad things about it. Any alternatives?

What bad things have you heard about it? I've used it for Palm OS and BlackBerry and really haven't had any problems. There are some things I'd like it to improve on, such as being able to sync the notes on my phone to the Notes in Mail, but I think that's a limitation with Apple.

I believe you can try it out for a few days to see what you think. It's a pain in the butt to find the download links on their site, but if you dig enough, you'll find it.

There's several other application that does the same thing Missing Sync does but their compatibility is less than Missing Sync's. Every product for anything has "bad things" said about them.

My wife and I use/used it for almost a year now and it's been good to us. We both have/had Palm Treo 750's and I keep my Mac and my office Dell in perfect sync.

I have since moved on to an iPhone and she still uses her Missing Sync and her Palm Treo and still works great.

Thanks for the replies! The bad things I had heard were like, if you synced with The Missing Sync, then went and synced again with ActiveSync on Windows, it would erase all your data, but whatever.
