Dear All,

I have noticed this for some time now and wonder if anyone as a permanent solution.

Essentially when I open a finder window or safari or when ever it does not open full screen but it leaves a 2 millimeters at the bottom where it will show the desktop which is very annoying.

I am attaching also a print screen where to seek contrast I have changed the desktop to a solid red color.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

glad to hear I am not the only one.. Hopefully someone has got a permanent solution vs the manual adjusting every time I lunch a new window..

I think the idea is that if you want it to be completely full screen, you click on the double arrow at the top right of the window, and then you can three finger swipe between the app and the desktop.

It is there to reach the Dock.
If you put the dock on the side, the small gap will show there, and the bottom will be filled completely.

Just wondering, look in the "View" menu.

Does it say
- "Show Status Bar"
or
- "Hide Status Bar"

??

I am sure that on the gap on the side will be annoying as the one on the bottom but thanks for the suggestion

Both option are greyed out, what did you expect to see?
Thanks
