just got my new 24" imac and already gave myself a headache

trying to load my student versions of XP and then an upgrade version of Vista

I got as far as XP looking and working well, (new to mac so ???)

but when i tried to load Vista it asks for a drive to load to and all it has to select from is FAT type partitoned and not the desired one.

More Facts...
I loaded XP service pack 2 and then attempted to load the 32 bit VISTA

I get an error message saying boot manager is screwed and i have to choice to attempt to boot from the disk i have in their (VISTA upgrade from XP)

SO mabey i am asking HOW do i get the cd out?

Well, a couple of things-

First off, you should reformat your FAT partition to NTFS... and that means reinstalling XP, and losing your ability to see the drive through OSX.

Second of all, I'm not really sure what you're asking, but if you need to eject the CD, restart the computer, and on boot hold down the mouse button until the CD is ejected.

Windows on mac messup

I start callling apple support in 5 minutes here.

My boot disk is stuck ( Vista) and i am afraind the same thing that killed my pc has screwed my mac. I get a press key for boot. (vista cd) then when i do nothing

BOOTMGR comes up
then press crl+alt+del to restart. crl ald del does nothing

i was attempiing to load windows without knowing what i was doing

also partitioning is all messed up and vista will not load anywhere

all files FAT type

please get to me before techsupport

THANKS BYE
