I just installed windows 7 ultimate on my macbook pro 13inch i5 is there a fix i need to install so that it will run as smooth as possible?

Nope, I would recommend installing windows security essentials, which provides free antivirus and antispyware protection.

Service Pack 1 is out there if you want, but is by no means necessary.

Sounds good thank you i have done both update installs on it. Its running well just wasn't sure if i should do anything else to it. Thanks for the help!

As you install more apps, keep an eye on what programs launch at startup.

To do this, press the start button and type "msconfig". Click on the startup tab and uncheck any program you don't want running all the time. Some programs need to be running all the time, such as drivers, so don't uncheck everything.

at least 8 GB ram for a smooth experience in parallels IMO
