Just recently moved to mac-loving it but have a few apps that only run in windows. Boot camp. I installed it as instructed. Boot camp assist didnt recognise my xp installation disk so I Option-restarted. WHen it gets to the boot choice screen I only get the macintosh HD icon with an arrow below it. I tried running boot camp assist again and it says that the drive has been partitioned and do does disk utility. it reads - disk0s3 - microsoft basic data - 10.2gb

Is there something I am missing?

It wont show windows because you havent installed it yet.

Put your XP disc into the drive and at boot either press option/alt or hold down C to boot up from the disc.

When windows installer begins - make sure when you choose the partition you are installing to - you look carefully at the size and choose the one that matched 10.2gb (it should be C: )
