I have a work laptop that has windows 7 a personal mba that has thunderbolt. I was planning on getting a thunderbolt display, but I was hoping there might be a way to get the work laptop to work with the thunderbolt display. Possible with another adapter. Another option was if there was a way to connect my MBA to the PC then connect the MBA to the thunderbolt display. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

There isn't anything currently available which will allow you to connect a TBD to a windows laptop.

You could use RDP to remote in to the PC from the MBA, but there will be some latency. In my opinion it's not really a workable solution.

TBD will currently only work with Macs with a thunderbolt port. You'll need to get like a Dell 27" IPS screen if you want multiple inputs.
