We've recently had a furniture rearrange, and part of that rearrange involved moving our printer (HP DJ 3550) from the Windows computer to my Mac. I've plugged it in and set it up, no problems there.

I've shared the printer and enabled Windows sharing, and can see it when I browse the network from the Windows computer. However, when I try to connect to it, it says that a driver can't be found. I understand that normally the driver gets pulled over the network from the (Windows-based) computer sharing the printer. Of course, my Mac doesn't have the Windows drivers installed. But the Windows computer should already have the driver - it's been printing perfectly for the last 6 months, yet it seems to have forgotten about the driver now that the printer's not plugged in.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing?

OS 10.3.7
XP SP2 with all Windows Updates

Thanks :)
