im sorry if this is spam, but im so happy i just had to post something! i had the hardest time ever configuring smb printing with tiger, but leopard, oh wow, it just works now, this feature is probably my favorite in leopard so far.

I have a USB laser printer hooked up to an Airport Express, which in turn joins my D-Link wireless network. To connect this printer in Leopard, I just had to use the Bonjour option in the printer setup utility and it was done!

On Windows I had to create a TCP/IP port, get the IP address of the printer, then walk through a couple more screens in a setup wizard.

Print setup is GREATLY improved in 10.5. I had a Lexmark Optra R (hey, got them free) and I could NEVER get them to work unless I used IP based printing, which for me can be a problem at times. FINALLY good old AppleTalk protocols work fine!
