My OSX died and I can't reinstall it because I have SMART error, Windows 8.1 works almost perfect and I hope to buy few extra months before I replace with a newer model.

In Windows 8.1 when I try to install the graphic driver, I get a black screen. Tried several drivers but I always get the same black screen over and over again. I solved it once, but I don't recall how.
Now, I'm trying to create a Windows 7 USB drive (Original ISO from Microsoft) but when I select the drive from the option menu (Option key when starting up) it just stuck, the same goes for Vista.

My CD drive is not working so USB is my only option.

So the help I need is as followed:
A real fix for the black screen issue with iMac late 2009 (ATI Mobile HD 4850)
or
A way to create a USB drive for Windows 7/Vista
or
A way to install Windows 7/vista on top of Windows 8.1
or
A way to install OSX (Any that can support 64 bit will be fine at this point, but again, I have SMART error and I don't know how to bypass it)

I have a laptop with Windows 8.1 and MacMini with Mavericks
