Hi all,
Few questions to do with Windows Shares, they aren't show stoppers, but a little annoying when it happens every day:
1. Whenever I mount a Windows share that is read only, the view keeps resetting to a Finder window with "Icon" view instead of "List" view, and the sidebar, toolbar and status bar is missing. I've tried manually setting these view options, but after a restart and remounting the options are back to the defaults. This did not occur in SL, anyone know any tricky defaults.write commands that would fix this?
2. I use "Alias" files to access my Windows shares from a list, when ever I click on one of these shares, Finder opens with a window showing my home folder, rather than the newly mounted share.
Both of these issues are happening on 3 Mac's, 1 is an upgrade and 2 are fresh installs so I don't think that's the issue.
As I said they are only little annoying things but I thought someone here might have solved these issues.
Thanks again.
