I have my mac and my girlfriends pc set up so that I can get to my mac home folder from her computer..... but what I dont know how to do, is to get to a folder on her computer from mine. Anyone know how to do that?

We are both on the same network, mine, linksys router, both wireless,
standard 192.168.1.100, and 192.168.1.101 IP addresses....

thanks in advance

Here is what to do:

* Enable Windows Sharring in sys prefs -> sharring
* there will be an address at the bottom that will say something like: "Windows users can access your computer at \\192.168.1.1101\userx"
* In windows, go to Start -> Run
* In run type "\\192.168.1.1101\userx" (where userx is your user name)
* Hit enter, might take like 10sec to load, but it will, prob prompt your for a sign in

Actually i figured it out... went into windows, did a "create a new home or small office blah blah blah.... got it taken care of...

now I can get to her computer on mine, and she can get to mine on hers.
awesome thanks!

no prob, I actually came across this recently since my new job is on pc's which is gross, so I bring my ibook in, and I mostly do my high stuff @ home on my imac
