I just got my new Mini. my first ever real mac.

I'm going to purchase a 120GB SSD but wanted to run a windows install via parallels 6 so i can use Origin EA client.

I felt the need to save as much GB as i could with the boot disk only have 110GB of drive space (damn ssd pricing!)

then i stumbled on Windows 7 Thin PC. there is a 90 day trial available (1GB iso vs 3.5GB). and i installed it easily via parallels and it runs really well with such a small footprint. and i hope it will allow great gaming play. (well in the future when thunderbolt GPU enclosures come out)

just thought id give anyone who may be interested in saving some space on there SSD's like i do a heads up.

WinTPC is an SA benefit, and is not available outside of SA. Customers without active SA coverage on their PCs can get SA by purchasing a Windows Virtual Desktop Access (VDA) subscription, which includes SA benefits such as WinTPC. Although Windows VDA can be purchased for any device, only devices with an existing Windows client OS (Professional / Business, Enterprise, Ultimate) qualify for WinTPC. Please refer to the Products List/Products Use Rights document for more details around WinTPC use rights.

Seems unfortunate that this is not being offered retail, only through volume programs and to PCs with existing non-Home licenses...

Doesn't seem like a practical solution for most Macs.
