If you use closing software to clone new fresh windows install and what software do you use?

On my PC, I just manually back up my files to an external hard drive. I never really saw the appeal of backup software for Windows, since it's pretty easy to reinstall all my software and just copy files from an external drive. 🤷‍♂️
