Windows video card for Bootcamp only?

I want to buy either of these cards and use it for windows only via boot camp... is that possible?

unless there's a power issue, sure, they'll work. before the macos versions of the 4870 and the gtx285 came out, i had a PC gtx 260 in my pro for use in windows only. be aware, though, the card's fan will be uncontrolled under OS X, and will most likely spin at full speed whenever you're booted into that OS rather than windows.

find a model from there and you can flash it with combo rom and use the card under OS X and windows. I did that with my 4870 in the end, worked great.
