Hi guys,

I have installed Windows Vista on my 17" 2011 MacBook Pro.. when I insert the bootcamp drivers in the system, it says they are only compatible with Windows 7. I don't own Windows 7, I only own Windows Vista.

Can I get these drivers for Windows Vista at all?

Thanks.

No.

Do yourself a huge favor, buy a OEM copy of Windows 7 & immediately update it to SP1. Then you'll have a great trouble free experience.

Whats dumb though is that there is no technical reason why windows 7 drivers wouldn't work on vista. If apple had not put that check in the installer all the drivers would work perfectly. Windows vista sp2 is very similar to windows 7 btw.
