Windows Vista on Mid 2011 iMac?

I have Windows Vista and a Mid 2011 iMac. I was curious what would happen if I used BootCamp to install it even though it says it isnt supported. Would it just not work, maybe work, or crash my whole computer?

If it even let you install it (which I doubt), you wouldn't have any drivers/support software. If you want/need Windows, pay the $100 for an OEM version of 7 or 8.

It will work. Windows 7 drivers work in Vista.


... but Vista sucks, pay the money for 7.

Why would you want to desecrate a lovely Mac with Windows Vista? Put Windows 7 on it instead.
