Hey guys got a question about the Vista to 7 upgrade.

I tried using google, but I couldn't find anything related at all so I'm going on a whim and asking around.

I saw that Vista users after a certain purchase date will get a free upgrade to Windows 7

I am looking to install Vista Ultimate 64bit onto my Macbook Pro. Through my University I can get Vista for 65$ as a download online and they mail me a product key. The website is here http://www.microsoft.com/student/discounts/theultimatesteal-us/default.aspx

The question is, if I download this after June 26th. Would I be eligible for the free Windows 7 upgrade?

I was under the impression that the program would be through Microsoft and I would send them proof of purchase or something like that.
