Hi there,

I was using a tool call flashTOusb in boot camp and it seems the program partitioned my main Macintosh HD. When I look at the drive its unformated RAW data with a partition type of FAT16.

My questions is whats the best way to recover my mac files? Using a recovery program in windows or mac and if so, which one? Disk warrior can't do anything with it.

I really need these files off my old desktop for a court case.

Thanks for any help.

well if anyone was wondering what app did the trick was Boomerang. It recovered everything. pricey, but worth it.

Data Rescue and Disk Drill are also great recovery tools. Never heard of Boomerang, though. May give it a try.
