My windows 10 was installed in my cMP 5.1 many years ago without using OpenCore, I have installed Win 7 for first than I just upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10
The problem is that i have to press Option key every time win10 need restart during updates.
In order to boot I use the old method by pressing option (alt) key by selecting the windows disk (I use nvidia card flashed for mac). If I try to use Opencore 0.7.9 Windows won't boot so I have decided to continue to use the OLD method when I need Win10 to run natively.

Is this safe?

thanks in advance for any help

When you press Option for the first time, select the Windows option, hold the Control key down so the arrow turns in to a circular arrow, and press return to start Windows. It sets Windows as the next boot option as well, so you don't need to hold Option key again until you want to go back to OpenCore. Do the Control key thing again for OpenCore so it will be the default option again.
