So since you all are so knowledgeable about Mac stuff, why not see if you can me help out with an XP question?? :D

I recently did a fresh XP install of a home computer which does not have a wireless adapter. My homes wireless network works and I have this computer I'm talking about plugged in with the wireless modem/router, however it cannot connect to the internet.... Any suggestions? It has worked in the past....:confused:

with out looking at it I have to guess here.
Go into your network connection and click on the property for the ethernet. Set it to share internet connection over that one. This is tells the computer to use that port as its internet.

I ran into that issue on my desktop were I had a wireless card and 3 ethernet ports (2 real and 1 virtual).

XP just has to be told which one it needs to route internet traffic threw.
