Hello fellow Mac users,
I'm somewhat interested in running Windows XP Home Edition via Bootcamp on my Intel iMac.
Since I already own three IBM computers, which all came with valid Windows XP licenses, I hope to remove the need of having to buy a new license.
As far as I know, IBM does not include a generic CD and my only option is the included restore disk.
I tried to install Windows from the restore disk in Bootcamp, and at a certain stage it simply rebooted without any feedback (probably because it had detected my hardware as being foreign).
Is there a workaround to this problem? Because it simply doesn't feel right to have to pay all over again for a product I own.
