Hi I want to install windows XP on my macbook. I have a license key but I lost the install disk. Anyone know how I can just get the software without buying another copy?

Tricky as the key may require a particular kind of disc. Do you remember if it was OEM, retail, etc...

Check eBay, you may be able to buy a disc without key cheap as long as its the right kind.

You might be able to get a replacement disc through Microsoft.

If you are using an OEM license you should know it is non-transferable. It may not activate in your Mac. As for replacement discs you would go to the original computer manufacturer unless it was OEM for system builders.
