Now I know windows has its problems, but....

I used the boot camp manager to make a windows partition, and I made it 80GB. Then I restarted the computer and the XP installer opened. When I select where to install XP, the only option is a 130GB Disc. Leopard is 150GB and XP is 80GB, so where did it find this drive? I didn't select it obviously because I don't want to screw up Leopard, but what should I do?

Thanks.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Also I think I know where it got 130GB from...My leopard drive has 50GB free, and the xp partition has 80gb, so 80+50=130GB...Still don't know how to fix it though.

XP won't see that free space. The leopard partition is HFS+, and windows more or less completely denies that that partition exists. Are you sure that you don't have FREE space on the drive (that is, blank, unformatted space?) The XP installer should only see empty space, the partition you made for it, and your Mac partition, labeled as "free space" I think...

No, I have no "free space." Disk Utility clearly shows 2 partitions, nothing else.

Again, I ask, can anyone help? Should I just bring it to the Apple store and have them do it for me?

Ok, can a moderator please move it there?

Thanks
They seem to be snoozing but maybe if you ask the same question via a new thread in that section, possibly other people watching there could offer advice.
