Windows XP not loading certain web pages

Yes, Windows Firewall is disabled.

I use AVG free with Link Scanner and e-Mail Scanner disabled.

Early '08 15" MBP stock 512 8600m config.

XP SP2.

I don't know. Websites like Gamespot, and really, any site I come along. A game also doesn't load servers (CoD4). Does anyone know what to do? This is really getting on my nerves >.<
