Windows XP on Mac White screen.

So basically, here's my problem. I have an iMac 26inch or so that I previously put windows xp on. But when ever I try to turn it on it just makes the start-up noise and shows a white screen. It worked previously, infact it worked rather well. So please, if someone could help it would be much appreciated :)
