I repartitioned my hard drive after installing Windows XP to the full amount for OS X, although when I restart my machine it automatically tries to boot into Windows but cannot find the software, which I obviously deleted.

I can boot into Os X by pressing the alt key and only an image of the Mac Hard drive appears.

I'm hoping there is a simple solution to this problem, which I am oblivious to find.

You can set your startup disk in your system preferences
But you really should have used Boot Camp Assistant to delete the XP partition
