Windows xp setup screen unresponsive keyboard

I have a 2011 MacBook pro. On the windows xp setup screen where you choose to either set up windows, repair windows installation, or quit setup my keyboard won't work to select an option. It says press enter to setup xp but when I press it nothing happens. I tried pressing the keys for the other options and they don't work either. Also when I turn on my mac and try to hold option to choose my partition nothing happens and it goes straight to the xp setup. So now I can't even go back to osx. Please help me out.
