Windows XP SP2 or Vista?

I'm looking to install one or the other for gaming only.

Which one is the less troublesome to deal with?

I plan to use it for MS Flight Simulator maybe one or two other games...

Also how much space should the partition be?

I plan to go with the NTFS partition so I can set aside more than 32 GB... how much space will Windows use up?

Out of those two options, I'd go XP as long as Boot Camp has the drivers for it on your particular machine. (Newer ones are Win7 only). Although I'd upgrade to XP SP3 (free upgrade via Windows Update) after the install.

Yeah then you'll be fine. My Early 2009 included XP drivers.
