Good Afternoon,
Like so many others I have the 'no mouse or keyboard' problem.
MacAir - late 2014 11" - Mavericks 10.9.5.
I need (for a friend) to install Win7 - read up on it - followed instructions.
First attempt, system went straight to Win7 setup, mouse/keyboard ok, then error at end "... not suitable for this hardware".
Have since repeated about ten times - using different images (all genuine, I used to build networks) but it has always ended with 'loading Helper' then gone back to the Mac screen.
Reboot to the USB - Win7 setup starts, but no mouse or (more importantly) keyboard.
Have read many threads about this, tried various fixes using Terminal etc.
Tried again today with the image that previously led me straight to the W7 setup (deleted everything, clean OSX setup etc) - this time I had to reboot to the USB - again no keyboard.
Has anyone a "definitive" way of doing it ? - or some really solid advice/ideas.
Would really appreciate feedback - even my dog is getting depressed about it !
TIA
Peter
