I am looking for a utility which provides some or all of the functionality of Windowshade X, which gives the user the ability to control their web browser windows in ways that they used to be able to do in OS 9, but not in OS X. Free or paid utilities are fine, but I am looking for something with an active developer. It took Unsanity about 11 months from the release of Leopard to put out a version of WSX that was Leopard compatible. With Snow Leopard months away, I am not looking to repeat that.

Any recommendations?

Bumping this because I have to believe there is another utility out there that does this...but I haven't yet found it. Anyone?

WindowMizer

I know this is a super old thread, but the best replacement for Windowshade is WindowMizer from www.rgbworld.com. Works on all versions of OS X including Lion and Mountain Lion.

Cheers!
