windoz media player probs

When trying to use windoz media player V9 (yes I know that in an ideal world everything would be in Quicktime) I get error message "unable to connect to proxy". I am using an ADSL connection and airport express. Is it likely to be a firewall problem? Where should I start looking to try and fix this?

I've had similar problems, and the only work around I've found is to look at the source code of the page and manually enter the url of the .wmv file. Its a pain, but it works sometimes. Click on view in Safari and choose "View Source"
