Winebottler lack of sound

I use winebottler to run an emulator that is specificly made for windows. However, after mountain lion, I am unable to get sound from any apps ran via xquartz + winebottler. Is there any easy fix for this? Does anyone else have this problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

I see, an obscure GBA emulator isn't supported. But it worked fine in Lion.


also I'm not paying $60 for commercial software.

Is there a way I can run this with parallels, which I won a license for in a giveaway>
