I know there have been a few posts out there about winmail.dat and rtf settings in outlook, etc., but I'm having a similar issue I was wondering if anyone else has experienced.
A co-worker using Outlook sends an email to me and my boss. We both have iPhones with most recent software. His is, however a 3GS, whereas mine is just a 3G.
This same co-worker sends an email addressed to both my boss and myself. It goes through the same mail host (rackspace.com). However the HTML table included in the email shows up fine on my phone, but gets all screwed up and doesn't display correctly on my boss' phone. His also shows the winmail.dat attachment whereas mine does not.
At first we were trying to mess around with the RTF settings on the Outlook client, but that's obviously (or not?) not it since we both are in the same email. This fact also seems to eliminate the 'forwarding/stripping' issue I've seen in other threads all around.
Thanks in advance.
David
