Winpwn 2.0 Help

Hi,

On my computer (for whatever reason) I can't restore my ipod, I always get this strange error six. Any way, I was wondering if I could download winpwn, build my ipsw and firmware and stuff, then put the firmware on a memery stick and shift click restore on another computer. The restoring problem has happened with my computer ever sinceI got 2.0.

Did you try dfu mode?

I talk to someone and they said I wasnt doing dfu right because the connect to itunes screen/ apple logo was still on.

I got it by using dfu mode on my dads computer and installing the custom firmware there!

Thanks for the help, can't wait to try out cydia and installer beta
