winpwn 2.5 beta has encountered an problem and needs to close. *help*

I'm trying to use winpwn to unlock my iphone 2g. Everything seems fine but then I get to the device ready for pwnage point, the iphone screen goes white and then a pop up tells me windows has encountered a problem and must close so I can’t get any further! In the log it says it goes into DFU mode and restore but then the error pops up. And then after 10 or so minutes it enters back into normal mode. Anyone know why?
