i dont have a problem with WB on the 4 at all. you will find 50/50 on this subject probably.
and barrel doesnt need WB. standalone app.
Yep, Barrel is a stand alone app, but I also found that it causes conflictions with a couple other tweaks. If you run into any issues after installing, you'll know why.
What's your thoughts on winter board.
Being new to this what won't I be able to do without winterboard
Winterboard is for things like Themes, but can also include custom icons, Custom sounds and the like. You can go without Winterboard, it is not a mandatory thing.

For now barrel , spire for Siri will do.
Another question ; the 5 dock icon. Is there any issues with this !
I prefer Springtomize 2. It will let you have up to 10 icons in your dock and has a lot of more features and works great in my opinion.
