I'm sure this has been brought up before... I apologize for not searching in the previous threads enough. I'm wanting to install Windows XP on my MacBook, however all I have is a Windows XP SP2 upgrade disc and a Windows 98 disc. I'm aware that you are supposed to have a full version because of the fact that you can't eject the disc during the installation process. I have read that it's still possible, and I'm wondering if anyone knows how to do this. I don't have an external disc drive, so that's out of the question... Could I combine both discs onto a DVD? I'd appreciate any help!

Thanks,

window 98 won't work on an intel mac cause it doesn't support efi. but you could install windows 98 through vmware then upgrade it to XP. create a bootcamp partition.
mount the vmware virtual drive to the mac
use Winclone to clone the virtual drive to the bootcamp partition.
then you wolud have t boot from, XP upgrade disc and restore the partition

or buy windows XP sp2
